Origin
A blend of decaffeinated Latin American Arabicas. Nespresso chose Brazilian coffee of the Bourbon variety because it’s loved for its sweetness and distinct cereal note. Lightly roasted Central American Arabicas round out the blend, so together they become one sweet and smooth decaf coffee.
Roasting
The Arabicas in this Vertuo capsule are split roasted. Roasting the Brazilian Bourbon on its own lets it develop its cereal note into a sweet, smooth coffee, while lightly roasting the other Arabicas rounds out Melozio.
How It Tastes
Smooth and round, with a classic cereal note and honeyed sweetness. Bitterness sits at just 2 of 5 and acidity at 1 of 5, with a medium body and roast (3 of 5) — an easy-drinking decaf that is hard not to fall for.

Mug (230 ml): Brew black for the fullest cereal and honeyed character.

Brewing Recommendations
Brew as a Mug (230 ml) — the Vertuo machine reads the barcode on the capsule and sets the cup size automatically. Enjoy it black for smooth cereal notes, or add steamed or frothed milk for a sweeter, biscuity decaf latte.
