About Caramello
The Nespresso Barista Creations Flavoured Caramello is a smooth, creamy caramel coffee made only for Original Line machines. It blends 100% Arabica beans from Brazil and Colombia with classic caramel flavour for a rounded, biscuity cup with sweet toasted biscuit, vanilla and nutty undertones. Also, a medium-light split roast keeps the base smooth and velvety — so roasted coffee and caramel land in perfect harmony.
The taste of caramel that comes together with lightly roasted Latin American coffees makes Caramello a delicious treat. The nutty sweetness of caramel rounds out the Arabicas’ smooth taste and a note of biscuit emerges. The creamy caramel flavour requires a moment just for you — delicious black as a lungo or espresso, or as a cappuccino moment where notes of caramel cookies come up with milk.

Where the Beans Come From
Caramello uses a soft, 100% Arabica base from Brazil and Colombia. First, Nespresso picks naturally sweet beans from Brazil and lively washed beans from Colombia. Then, master blenders infuse a creamy caramel flavour into the blend. As a result, the nutty sweetness of caramel makes the taste of the Arabicas rounder and a note of biscuit emerges on top of the smooth Latin American foundation.
How It Is Roasted
Nespresso split-roasts this blend at a medium-light level for balance and aroma. The Brazilian coffee is lightly roasted to keep it smooth and preserve its malted cereal notes. The majority of Colombian beans get a short roast to release finer aromatics. Also, a fine grind adds a glimmer of intensity to this harmonious coffee — roasting rates 2 out of 5 on Nespresso’s scale, with an overall technical intensity of 6 (medium).
